Eurovision’un 2. yarı finalinin ardından notlar

Eveeeet! bugün Eurovision‘un ikinci yarı finali Azerbaycan‘da Bakü’de yapıldı. Doğrusu Salı günkü ilk finalde hem Türkiye olmadığı için hem de şarkılar çok iyi olmadığı için herhangi bir blog yazısı yazma ihtiyacı duymadım. Fakat itiraf etmeliyim ki bugünkü yarı final oldukça heyecanlıydı. Öncelikle şarkılar daha iyiydi ve şovlar daha göz doldurucuydu. Elbetteki en heyecanlı kısım da zarfların açıldığı andı :).

Bu arada yarışma televizyonda naklen yayında olduğu kadar Twitter’da da devam ediyordu. #vote4bonomo (TRT desteğiyle) dünyada TT (trending topic) oldu.

Herneyse eğer bu yarışmayı takip edenlerdenseniz her sene yarı finalde ayni heyecanın yaşandığını bilirsiniz. Her nedense türkiye her zaman 9 ya da 10uncu zarftan çıkar. Benimse tek dileğim eğer finale kalacaksa son zarfa kalmamasıydı fakat ne yazık ki öyle olmadı. Türkiye ilk açıklanan dokuz zarfın hiçbirinde çıkmadı ve sunucu en son golden ticket’ı çağırdı.

Nolur finale cikacaksak 9 veya 10. zarf filan olmasin. Tansiyon filan zipliyo sonra 20 lere

İşte tam bu sırada sunucu salona hangi ülkenin çıkmasını istediklerini sordu (ki bunu ilk yarı finalde de yapmıştı hınzır) ve tüm salon Türkiye diye bağırmasın mı! :). Veeee dilekler kabul oldu ve son zarftan Türkiye çıktı. Tabi biz de bu arada terden yapış yapış olmakla meşgulduk :). İşte bu andan itibaren rahat bir nefes aldık. O zarf yok mu… Açılana kadar twitter’da bile hayat durdu valla :). Sonradan geri dönüp baktım da o anlarda kimselerden ses çıkmamış!

Neyse şimdi kısaca cumartesi günkü finale kalan ülkelerin birkaçının şarkılarını yorumlamaya çalışayım.

Sırbistan bu adam 2004′te İstanbul’da yapılan Eurovision’da da vardı fakat ben şahsen şarkıyı çok “aynı” buldum. Yine de finale kalması beni şaşırtmadı…

Malta Finale kalmasını istediğim şarkılardan biriydi. Çok üstün bir şarkı olduğundan değil ama sahne performansları güzeldi ve çok sempatiklerdi. İzlemediyseniz Cumartesi kaçırmayın.

Ukrayna bu şarkıdan da çok etkilenmedim ama hareketli ve diğer şarkılarla kıyasla finale kalmaya daha uygun bir şarkıydı.

İsveç çok fazla methini duydum. insanlar genellikle çok beğendiklerini söylüyorlardı. evet, fena değil ama ben çok da etkilenmedim. İsveç’in çok daha iyi şarkılarını biliyorum.

Norveç bu şarkı da fena değildi, özellikle sahne performansları gayet hoş ve etkileyiciydi. Şarkı ise idare eder.

Türkiye Can Bonomo heyecanlıydı, birkaç hataları da oldu sahne de. Ama geneli itibarıyla hoş bir görsel show’du ve her zamanki gibi Can çok sempatikti. Sırf bundan bile oy toplar bu çocuk :)

İşte ikinci yarı finalden finale kalan bazı ülkelerle ilgili yorumlarım da böyle. Şimdi sıra geldi cumartesi günkü final heyecanına! Sonrasında tekrar bir blog yazısı yazarım sanırım. Can Bonomo’ya teşekkürler ve bol şans!

Dreamy Blue: Weekly Photo Challenge (Blue)

Weekly photo challenge this week somewhat arrived with a delay with a theme “blue”. Many thing might fit under this topic such as the sky, the sea/ocean etc. But I’ll stick with the first thing that popped in my mind. Blue Eyes, which I don’t have… But I have an iphone :)

So I sat playing with one of my photos, closing up into one eye only and changed the color to blue and the rest of the photo to black & white. Giving it some dreamy blur effect was the last step in the entire editing session. So now when I see myself with a blue eye, I can’t help but think… if only I could inherit my mother’s blue eyes… :)

Shots from Beirut – Weekly Photo Challenge (Unfocused)

The “unfocused” challenge this week was announced while I made a short visit to Beirut for the weekend. Obviously it’s going to be a good idea to share two of the shots that were not well-focused. Luckily I didn’t delete them :))

This first one is the moment the plane was landing.

I will share more pictures from the Beirut trip later (they are all “focused” :))… except this second unfocused photo I took at Bourj Hammoud (the Armenian district with lots of shops). We went to a local Armenian restaurant called Chief where they served really delicious food. If you happen to visit this part of Beirut, make sure to have at least one meal at this lovely restaurant. The photo is from the moment I stepped inside this shop and I could not focus well since I wasn’t checking the screen…

Bottles: Weekly Photo Challenge (Together)

Honestly speaking, when I first saw the theme “Together” for weekly photo challenge, I thought it would be an easy challenge. There could be many things photographed together to fit the theme, almost perfectly. That was where I was wrong actually… having too many possibilities does not make it easier, especially if you are as ambivalent as I am :)

Well, eventually I picked my subject… There, they were standing right in front of me: 4 bottles of Coca-Cola from 1899, 1900, 1915 and 1957 respectively. All almost-ancient bottles of a famous brand TOGETHER just like a timeline in front of my eyes.

Rays – Weekly Photo Challenge (Sun)

The winter in Istanbul this year was tough… to say the least! We had a lot of rain and snow. April, however, saluted us with a warm weather, sunny most of the time but also (still) rainy. I could actually share a photo from a sunny spring day but I decided to go through my archive and post one of my photos taken back in 2010 at Assos (my favorite holiday destination). I think I’m really longing for a summer holiday :)

Packed: Weekly Photo Challenge (Journey)

It’s sometimes difficult to shoot a photo within the week that gets on well with the weekly photo challenge theme. At that point, I find myself digging my archive if there is anything that fits. Unfortunately this week I could not benefit any of this solutions. So I decided to go googling searching for the term “suitcase”. Yes, suitcase in stead of journey :). I thought there was a good connection…

My entire plan was to get this photo photoshopped. People who follow my blog know it well that I am deeply into photoshopping sometimes even more than photography itself. So voila! There comes my latest product :) Packed and ready for a journey…

Oh by the way, in even less than a month time, I will be visiting Beirut (Lebanon) for a long weekend with friends. I could definitely get the best “journey shots” that time but it would be too late for the challenge :)
